Bereavement Care Support Programs

The Bereavement programs are open to all who live and work in Montgomery County. All the programs are free, except for the Six-week Support Groups. For these groups, there is a $25 non-refundable registration fee for community persons (who are not Montgomery Hospice family members.) Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis, so call and register early.

      Group meets each Tuesday from 1:00-2:30 p.m. beginning Tuesday, October 7
      Trinity Lutheran Church, 11200 Old Georgetown Road, North Bethesda
    • Parent Loss Group
      For adults who have experienced the death of one or both parents. Group meets each Thursday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. beginning Thursday, October 2

    • Evening Grief Support Group
      Group meets each Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 15
      North Bethesda United Methodist Church, 10100 Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda
    • Child, Adolescent and Teenager Grief Support Group
      For children (4 years old) through teens who have experienced the death of a parent or sibling. Parent/Guardian Group meets at the same time. Both groups meet every Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:30 p.m., beginning on Wednesday, October 15
