This webinar is an open discussion that aims to address the needs of the LGBTQ community at the end of life. In addition we will explore spirituality and ways in which professional caregivers can be more supportive for the aging LGBTQ community at the end of life.

Objectives:

  • Discuss the needs of LGBTQ patients and caregivers at the end of life.
  • Identify misconceptions in caring for LGBTQ patients at the end of life.
  • Review how professional caregivers can more effectively support inclusive care for the aging LGBTQ community
  • Discuss spirituality at the end of life for the LGBTQ community.
