Forgotten Mourners: Sibling Loss and Grief
Thursday, August 4, 2022. 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Siblings are often called the “forgotten mourners” when grieving the loss of a brother or sister. Sometimes they feel as though they are on the outside of the family circle, and the pain of their loss is not acknowledged. This workshop will be a time for those who have experienced the loss of a sibling to share their stories and discuss strategies for dealing with the effects of grief.

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR ALL WORKSHOPS:
Registration is first-come, first-serve, so call and register early. Participants must sign up in advance.
Free and open to all who live or work in Montgomery or Prince George’s County.
Unless otherwise noted, workshops will be online through the Zoom platform, so you will need to have internet access with audio/video capabilities.
To register, ask for a Bereavement Counselor at: 301 – 921 – 4400.
