Tree of Lights 2020

Thank you to all who participated in the 2020 Montgomery Hospice and Prince George’s Hospice Tree of Lights ceremony. Each year, the ceremony provides the opportunity to remember family and friends during the season of Thanksgiving.

A cluster of three evergreen trees on the grounds of Casey House, designated as the 2020 Montgomery Hospice and Prince George’s Hospice Tree of Lights trees, was illuminated with hundreds of lights. Each light represents the life of a loved one who shines in our memory. Your commemoration of a loved one enables our organization to care for anyone with a life-limiting illness – regardless of ability to pay.

In order to keep our community safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s ceremony was streamed online. The ceremony included words of remembrance from members of our Bereavement Care team and concluded with the illumination of the 2020 Tree of Lights trees.
